New Day to Be Creative!
The Moore-Lindsay Historical House Museum in Norman, Oklahoma, is a beautifully preserved Victorian-era home that offers local visitors a glimpse into the city’s history. This stunning Queen Anne-style house was built in 1899 and offers guided tours, exhibits, and educational programs in the heart of Norman. I wanted to capture the amazing architecture and fine details of this elegant building.
This is a reflection on one of my watercolor flower pieces, the Purple Asters. The artwork draws inspiration from the wild asters found in Maine during late summer and autumn. It holds personal value for a friend. These flowers are important for monarch butterflies during their migration. They are also a preferred subject for painting and teaching in my classes. Just ask my students! lol

Tree Wizard Workshop, established in 2020, has been a welcoming space for me to showcase my work in their charming gift shop. I am honored to be the sole watercolor artist featured in their gallery and look forward to potentially offering classes in the future. Tree Wizard is known for its impressive collection of Rose Rocks, many of which are available for purchase.
I hope you have gained a deeper understanding of my passion for watercolor art and the diverse subjects that inspire my creativity. It’s always a delightful experience to learn something new and share a story or two along the way.
