Uncover Beautiful Watercolor Art By Maya’s Artbeat

Teal vintage car near colorful spiral tower

Hello friends, One of my greatest inspirations as an artist is exploring beautiful and unique places and of course, nothing says Oklahoma adventure quite like Route 66! Today I want to share one of my absolute favorite stops along the Mother Road: Pops 66 in Arcadia, Oklahoma. If you’ve never been, it’s a true Route 66 experience, part roadside attraction, part diner, part soda wonderland, and completely unforgettable.

Pops 66 660 OK-66, Arcadia, OK 73007

✨ From the towering glowing soda bottle out front to the walls lined with hundreds of colorful sodas from around the world, Pops is bursting with nostalgia, joy, and that classic Route 66 charm. It’s the perfect place to stop for a meal, grab a unique drink, and snap a few photos under the neon lights. Places like this are exactly what inspire my ongoing Route 66 watercolor series – capturing the spirit, color, and stories of Oklahoma’s most iconic highway. If you’re looking for a fun local adventure or a weekend road trip idea, Pops 66 should absolutely be on your list! If you visit, I’d love to see your photos- tag me and share your favorite soda flavor!
